Based on the solid state technology, BDG's PTC model 2019 can be used as motor starter on splitphase electrical motors from 1/15 to 1/2 Hp. It has been designed in order that, when installed the thermistor remains in vertical position and get quicker cooled by air convection during the recovering phases.

The case is made in glass fibers filled PBT that is able to resist foe years and years to continue temperature variations of the pill and even to prevent electrical trackings. The profile of the case allows an easy mechanical interconnection between the PTC and our OLP mod. 2010. It also has a special rail where it is possible to directly slide the pin receptacle of the overload protector.

According to the costumers requirements mod. 2019 may be supplied with:

• different electrical connections for capacitor's use: from 1 to 4 tabs or welded leads
• different type of thermistors for resistivity and voltage.
