OLP mod. 2010 is a 3/4'' safety thermostat which is sensitive both to the current absorbed and to the temperature variation in the winding, and it is able to guarantee the electric motor against irreparable damage in every type of abnormal working condiction, such as: rotor looking, insufficient static torque, continuos overloading, excessive room temperature, reduced ventilation or voltage fluctuations.

It is produced in a variety of series and are thus suitable for use in a very large range of applications - e.g. fractional motors and hermetic refrigerating groups, monophase electric motos for washing machines and dishwashers, air condictioning and ventilation systems and automatic controls in general.

The body is made in thermosetting and its inferior edge may be round or octagonal, according to the costumers needs. The sensitive element is made by a bimetallic disc with a special shape to get a quick snap-action avoiding defective and unsafe cut off. A heating element is placed electrically in series to the thermosensitive disc and direcly welded to the clad and silvered fixed contacts.A precise calibration of the operating values set at our factory assures reliable functioning. The setting of the protector is locked with a special sealing compound so that the subsequent adjustment is easily detected. The connection terminals can be by screw, by coupling, or by cables of different lengths and sections with fittings which are in accordance with the needs of dislocation and housing. A speaking code is printed on each device that can be immediately recognised according to the nature of the motor to be protected.
